These Cretacolor Square Pastels are made from the highest quality natural and synthetic pigments and similiar in composition to unfired chalk sticks. Highly light resistant and stable, they are semi-hard yet blend easily with minimum dusting. Their square (7x7x75mm) shape allows broad and detailed work. Perform best on soft drawing paper of average roughness. Are blendable, extendable and water-soluble. Is designed to fit the Cretacolor chalk holder. Fixing is required.
